Terms of use

This is the electronic press kit of ARCURI. It exists so that promoters, labels, press and anyone curious can find accurate information and the material they need, without asking first. These terms say what you may do with what is here, and under what conditions the site is published.

01

The site

PUBLISHED BY
Julián Arcuri, performing as ARCURI, DJ and producer, Mendoza, Argentina, as an individual.
DESIGN AND CODE
Mariano Silba.
HOSTING
Cloudflare Pages.

02

Accuracy, and its limits

Every fact published here is traced to a source, and the releases, dates and credits are kept current. Even so, the site is published as it stands: line-ups change, dates move, and the platforms this site links to rename and remove things without notice. Nothing here is a warranty that any particular fact is still true at the moment you read it.

03

Booking is not concluded here

The booking address is an invitation to get in touch, not an offer that can be accepted. A booking exists when it is agreed in writing between the parties, with its own terms — a fee, a date, a technical rider. Sending or receiving an email through the address published here creates no obligation on either side.

04

What belongs to whom

The recordings and the compositions belong to their authors and to the labels that released them, as credited on each release. The photographs, the texts, the ARCURI logotype and isotype, and the design and code of this site are protected by copyright, and the marks additionally by trademark law where it applies. None of it is in the public domain, and none of it is licensed by being published here except as section 05 says.

05

What press and promoters may do

This is a press kit, so the permission is explicit rather than something you have to ask for. Without writing to anyone, you may:

  • download the press kit PDF and the photographs published here, and reproduce them to announce, review or report on a booking, a release, or the artist;
  • reproduce the biography and the discography, in full or in part, for the same purposes;
  • use the ARCURI logotype and isotype to identify the artist on line-ups, posters, tickets, listings and editorial coverage.

On three conditions, which are the whole of what is asked in return:

  • Reproduce the marks and the photographs unaltered. No recolouring, no stretching, no filters over the portraits, and no cropping or redrawing of the marks.
  • Keep any credit that travels with a file, and identify the artist as ARCURI.
  • Do not use any of it in a way that suggests ARCURI endorses a product, a brand, a party or a position.

06

What is not permitted

  • Modifying, recomposing or redrawing the logotype or the isotype. They are drawings, not typography, and they are not to be set in a typeface.
  • Using the material to sell a product or a service unrelated to the artist’s own work.
  • Using the recordings in a synchronisation — film, advertising, a game, a video — without a licence. Write and ask; that is what the booking address is for.
  • Presenting this site or its content as your own, or framing it inside another site under another brand. The site also refuses to be framed technically, which is the same rule enforced twice.

07

Text and data mining

The rights holders expressly reserve the right to reproduce and extract the content of this site for text and data mining, including for the development or training of generative or other machine learning models. The reservation is made under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and under any equivalent provision elsewhere, and it applies to the whole of the site: texts, photographs, marks, design, and the press kit PDF. Use of that kind requires written permission.

08

Links out, and the player

The site links to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram and Linktree, and it embeds Spotify’s player in the discography section. Those services are not operated from here, and each has its own terms and its own privacy policy. Linking to a service is not an endorsement of it, and what happens once you arrive there is governed by that service.

09

Availability

The site is published as a courtesy and may be changed, moved or taken down at any time and without notice. It is not guaranteed to be available, uninterrupted, or free of error.

10

Liability

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this site or of the material published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for wilful misconduct, and nothing in them takes away a right you have under a mandatory consumer rule where you live.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute goes to the ordinary courts of the City of Mendoza, Province of Mendoza, Argentina, unless a mandatory rule where you live gives you the right to a different forum.

12

Changes

These terms carry the date they were last changed, at the top of the page. Using the site after a change means the version published here is the one that applies.
